1.You need to have sufficient supply of raw material.
It can be sawdust, wood chips, wood shavings, straw, stalk, etc. Most of the time your raw material is not suitable for briquetting directly. In this case, you need to crush or pulverize it into 2-5mm size(Hammer Mill may be needed). Besides, the moisture content of your biomass is sometimes too high than required (around 8-12%). Under such circumstance, you’d better dry your biomass in order that it does not decrease briquette productivity.(Drying machine may be needed) What’s more, it is advised to build the briquette press plant near your raw material, so that you can save a lot of raw material transportation cost (we know that raw material is loose and its transportation cost cannot be neglected).

4.Workshop size and auxiliary facilities. You need to know that for making biomass briquettes, one single briquette press is far from enough! You will need at least crusher, dryer, conveyor and cooler. Certainly, if your raw material is small size sawdust, crusher (hammer mill) is not necessary. But most of the time raw material will contain much water, in this case, dryer is indispensable. To install these equipments, you must have enough workshop, or we can draw the plan according to your workshop size (height, width and length) to fully make use of your workshop space.
